SUBURBAN WIND POWER WINDCAP

NEW DISTRIBUTED GENERATION SYSTEM:

  • Energy capture based on ambient wind speed amplification (Warp-Eneco aerodynamic patent) and Windcap’s power conversion system.
  • Permanent wind direction orientation
  • Modular and standard ‘off-the-shelf’ equipment
  • Capability to adapt to buildings, sites configurations and wind exposure (multi-levels, multi towers arrangements)
  • Energy produced and used on site (380V ~ tri for connection to power pannel (suburban factories and résidential compounds)
  • Excess power not consummed elligible for grid network credit

FLEXIBILITY AND AVAILABILITY:

  • Size and number of modules adapted to users needs
  • Evolutive with future clients energy needs or investment capacity
  • Building retro-fit, new building architectural integration, or independant external totem support
  • Maintenance access and work without heavy lift equipment
  • Optimized blades shape for site wind conditions
  • Extended life cycle due to compact and robust components
  • Turn-key project appraisal w/minimum production goals

OPERATIONS SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Regional construction and assembly for most components (composite body, structural support, cabling)
  • State of the art international electrical generation equipment and control command systems
  • Operational wind speeds : from 2m/s to storm conditions (limited only by structural resistance and fixing in accordance w/regulations)
  • Wind amplification factor: 1.5 à 1.7
  • Power availability : up to 5000 hrs (over 8 760/year) depending on site wind ressource
  • Energy output adapted to suburban SME buildings in industrial zoning or residential compounds (generally 100 kW to 500 kW), but extended capacity also feasible due to modularity of system
